  • Food aversion

Food aversion is psychological avoidance and psychological intolerance caused by emotions associated with food rather than the food itself.

  • Food challenge

Test used for the diagnosis of food allergies: it consists of eliminating the offending food and assessing whether the patient’s symptoms improve or not; then, during the challenge phase, the food is re-introduced to see whether symptoms return.
